Lions and Tigers and Leopards, Oh My! 8 of the Best; Big Cat Jewellery

It isn’t really a new idea, but it is a good one. I’m a sucker for blingy animal jewellery, and these babies are high up on my list! Animal jewellery seems to be trending again with Anna Del Russo’s fabulous (and completely unavailable) collection for H&M, with crocodiles and snakes galore, and Butler and Wilson’s really great leopard jewellery. Here are eight other fun and flashy pieces:Xiyan Necklace, Baublebar Necklace, Xiyan Earrings, Baublebar Bracelet,
Baublebar Earrings, Xiyan Ring, Baublebar Bracelet, Beauty Delivery Earrings

What to Wear … for a Scottish Summer

I’m going on a trip soon, including briefly visiting Scotland for the first time. Exciting! But what to pack in this miserable weather (and with only hand luggage space) is proving pretty tricky. One thing I’ve definitely decided to include however is this;

Asos Dress, Next Boots, Necklace from ‘make your own stall’ at Judy’s Vintage Fair

It might be a little on the nose, ha ha, but hopefully I’ll fit right in!

New Discovery: The Indian Etsy

It’s been impossible to get outfit posts out in the constant rain 😦 so instead I’ve been surfing the net, and look what I’ve found! The website Craftsvilla is the place to ‘buy Indian Handmade & Handcrafted’. It’s super cheap and it has some great stuff on it. Unfortunately, it isn’t very easy to search, and I can’t vouch for the quality – but I’ll let you know if I buy something! Luckily for you, you don’t have to trawl through hundreds of pages of it if you don’t want, because I’ve picked out the best bits for you. You’re welcome! I love the bling, over-the-topness of these statement pieces, they put the costume back into costume jewellery. I think I’d style them just on top of a black t-shirt and jeans, or a turtle neck? because it’s all about contrast right?

peacock earrings, choker necklace, flower earrings, red and gold necklace,

flower set, red and green set, feather earrings, swirls set,

peacock set, peacock earrings, ruby set, red and green set,

green and gold set, peacock set, enamel brooch set, peacock set

I apologize for the profusion of peacocks, bit of a weakness I guess. They are also some surprise bits and pieces, like these;

feather necklace, fish necklace

How would you style these statements? let me know below…

If I Was a Rich Girl…I’d buy jewellery from Doloris Petunia

I just stumbled across a necklace by Doloris Petunia on The Blonde Salad blog, and was instantly captivated! I mean really how beautiful are these;

8 of the Best: Painted Rhinestone

This microtrend took off a little while ago, inspired by Tom Binns Collection, and I’m totally obsessed with it! Hand painted rhinestone or crystal jewelry is self-consciously girly, but a little bit punk as well. It is so great for a pop of colour on these rainy days, and also a great way to work other trends – like neons, pastels, statement necklaces, flowers, rope – into your wardrobe. Here is my lineup;

Asos Ear Cuff, Pure Essentia Necklace (Etsy), ColorblockShop Earrings (Etsy), SophiaDarlingVintage Necklace (Etsy)

LasSmartArts Necklace (Etsy), prettylittlethings85 Earrings (Etsy), JenHoodenpyle Necklace (Etsy), Martsys Earrings (Etsy)

It was a tough choice, but here is what I bought in the end;

ELMELM earrings, Nianiacollection Necklace (both on Etsy)

If you love these but don’t want to shell out, see an easy DIY tutorial here at a girl, a style.

The Life Aquatic

Here is a seaside outfit perfect for eating fish and chips in! I love the print and the shape.Primark Dress, Lealoo’s Lovelies Necklace and Earrings (Etsy), pinupfashiondress Belt (Ebay), Bradbeers Shoes
