8 of the Best: Rope Necklaces

Proenza Schouler started this trend with their amazing rope necklaces. Sadly, the high street never really seemed to pick it up, but I think they are so beautiful. Luckily for you and me the crafters soon cottoned on. Here are 7 of the best available to buy;

Catrinel Necklace, Christina Anton Necklace, Kasiaruszkowska Necklace, Connie Lo Necklace

Deezie Smalls Necklace, Mel & Kat Necklace, Zullo Designs Necklace (All Etsy)

And number 8: If you are feeling crafty there is an amazing tutorial on making your own here at Honestly…WTF. I can’t wait to have a go myself! Let me know how you get on, below…

New Discovery: The Indian Etsy

It’s been impossible to get outfit posts out in the constant rain 😦 so instead I’ve been surfing the net, and look what I’ve found! The website Craftsvilla is the place to ‘buy Indian Handmade & Handcrafted’. It’s super cheap and it has some great stuff on it. Unfortunately, it isn’t very easy to search, and I can’t vouch for the quality – but I’ll let you know if I buy something! Luckily for you, you don’t have to trawl through hundreds of pages of it if you don’t want, because I’ve picked out the best bits for you. You’re welcome! I love the bling, over-the-topness of these statement pieces, they put the costume back into costume jewellery. I think I’d style them just on top of a black t-shirt and jeans, or a turtle neck? because it’s all about contrast right?

peacock earrings, choker necklace, flower earrings, red and gold necklace,

flower set, red and green set, feather earrings, swirls set,

peacock set, peacock earrings, ruby set, red and green set,

green and gold set, peacock set, enamel brooch set, peacock set

I apologize for the profusion of peacocks, bit of a weakness I guess. They are also some surprise bits and pieces, like these;

feather necklace, fish necklace

How would you style these statements? let me know below…

If I Was a Rich Girl…I’d buy jewellery from Doloris Petunia

I just stumbled across a necklace by Doloris Petunia on The Blonde Salad blog, and was instantly captivated! I mean really how beautiful are these;
